Sooo...today could probably be considered a bad day. It seems better now that I've spent a good few hours playing videogames, but...definitely not the best day.
It began with me waking up at 8am crying because I dreamed that my mom had died and the only reason I found out was because my roommate (who I'm assuming was my sister in the dream) wanted to sell the Lumina, because it was the only decent car we had left because the Vibe was completely destroyed. It had been over two days, and nobody had told me that my mom was dead, and they weren't planning on telling me either. They were just going to let me figure that one out on my own. Yeah...that was super not cool. Even if it was just a dream. Messed me up for a good few hours.
Sooo yeah. Then I woke up to failbake (which surprisingly tasted a little better when I added an egg to it) and a banana, and played games in an attempt to shake off the dream (didn't work) then ate lunch and fiiiinally began my attempt to get to Paul Need, who is a guy that works for his own small lighting/sound company called 10 out of 10 lighting, who is friends with Philip my theatre teacher and wanted to interview me to find out if I could work with him or something and learn more about lighting.
So I manage to successfully navigate the tube to Monument station, where I find out that the transfer line I was planning on taking was closed, so we had to trade over to Bank station. On my way out to Bank station though I found a sign saying that London Bridge station wasn't too far away, which is where I needed to go. So I walked along london bridge (and no, I didn't stop humming the nursery rhyme the entire way across) and found the right station which was HUGE since it's apparently a bus hub, a taxi hub, an underground and overground station, and the ferries aren't very far away either.
Soo I manage to get in line and get my ticket to Lower Sydenham (where Paul is located) but the ticket guy tells me 2:45 at Platform 11. My actual train was at 2:25 from Platform 4. Yeah...luckily I asked for directions and discovered that Sydenham and Lower Sydenham are in two completely different directions from one another before I missed the real train.
The train ride itself was quiet. Literally. You could hear a pin drop, a person scratching four rows back, and it didn't feel like the train was moving at all, just gliding along without a sound or bump or jostle. Only the faintest hum of the engine changing gears told me when we were startnig to slow down. I took photos a little bit, prolly upload them later.
But alas, I am tired and have class. Will finish writing this tomorrow. Night!
