Wew! So this blog is titleless. Way to start.
Uh, Lou managed to get in town safely, even though there were bombings this morning two stops away from where she was staying, there's a strike occurring on the airlines she took, there's a strike on the rail systems, and she's super stoked that I am able to cook spam for her and that she can eat spaghetti sauce not made of ketchup. She also got really excited about tap water and started basically worshiping the fact that it's not brown or yellow and doesn't need to be boiled to drink.
If I didn't appreciate the little things enough in London before, I do now.
Will made billions of cookies today! They're like...pure chocolate and taste delicious on ginger snaps. They literally fell apart in my hands, and it looked like he just mushed up chocolate and turned it into a cookie format. SO GOOD! Especially on my ginger snap cookies with milk. I forgot how good milk tasted with chocolate, and vice versa. Mmm...But then he and Jon made burritos for dinner so now our kitchen smells like burritos and chocolate.
I had pizza for dinner! Salami and pepperoni with garlic and mushrooms. I wanted olives too, but you were only allowed 2 meat and 2 veg selections. For lunch and breakfast I just had leftovers of rice eggs and corned beef. Still tasty.
Our stove is totally dirty now. It only took a day and the stains that were on the old one have mysteriously appeared on the new one. I don't know if this means something's wrong with the gas or we're just really good at not keeping things clean or what, but identical stains on a brand new stove. I'm hoping the cleaning people have a way to fix it. It's a super amazing stove though. All of the burners work properly and heat up super fast and really hot. Sooo much nicer than before.
I wore my leather jacket out today!! It was really fun, and it only rained once and really lightly so it dried before I could dry my jacket. I really like my jacket.
Can you tell I had a really uneventful day? I did a little bit of work, watched more TV, played some games, and cleaned my room. I mean, it still looks messy because of little advertisements and reciepts everywhere, but eh. It's cleaner.
It's almost 11 though, so I should probably start getting ready for bed. Tomorrow I give a presentation and I have a long day of class. Going to be difficult to get on a normal sleep schedule after last week, hopefully it won't take too long to get used to.
